MMR booster for you?

Is anyone getting or considering a MMR booster for themselves? I'm not in California but we just got a positive measles case on my home town 2/3 of the way across the country and news casts were urging adults who were vaccinated as a child but we're born before '89 to get a booster to ensure effectiveness. I've found mixed info on line. Just wondering what other moms are doing.

I am considering getting it, I know 10 years ago I did have some testing done and I did show immunity to it but I am still thinking about it.

It isn't a CA problem anymore. It is in 11 states and growing. Check your immunity. If you need one, get a booster.

I haven't watched the news much in the last few days and I meant it's relatively isolated here compared to CA. I didn't know you could " test your immunity. I was just going to go to a minute clinic in hopes of avoiding my PCP who weirds me out.

Your PCP can test you...but if he creeps out, maybe you can see someone else?

They tested for immunity at my first OB appointment, if you have access to your chart you can check. Or maybe you could call and ask.
