  I'm following because we're in the exact same situation. She will nurse for literally less than a minute at night. We've started supplementing with a bottle at night- sometimes breastmilk if I have extra, if not, formula. I usually make her a 3 or 4 oz bottle at this time. Is it a nursing strike for some reason or is she starting to wean herself?? She was 9 mos on Monday.

  Liam has been this way the last couple nights but I haven't done anything about it. He eats dinner almost immediately before bed so I know he's not starving and he hasn't been waking up any earlier MOTN to eat. I just don't want this to be the end of breastfeeding...not quite ready yet

  Is he falling asleep or just wanting to play? Does he drink from a bottle instead? Is he still "full" from dinner? Is he nursing ok at other times (obviously not when you are at work).

  Mine hasn't been nursing lately either, but she just had her second tooth pop out yesterday. I assume it's just a phase. She nurses well for MOTN feelings, so I nurse her every time she wakes. I think she's just so busy now during the day that she'd rather play than nurse (in addition to it being painful right now).

  This is happening to me too! In fact I was just researching today wondering if maybe he was already self weaning and found this https://kellymom.com/bf/normal/babyselfwean/. So now I'm thinking he's just going thru some phase. It's a little different for us though because he doesn't use bottles so he won't breastfeed or even drink from a bottle either. Only eats solids well. Today he went from 5 AM to 6 PM without any BM! He ate twice last night though and once before bed tonight for a total of three times today. It's so frustrating because I don't know what's wrong and also I have to pump to prevent engorgement. I worry he's not getting enough BM for nutrition. Hopefully your LO is just going thru a hose too.

  We've been deing with this for a few months. We have added in a bottle to supplement but she doesn't always take that either. We're only on 3 feedings of bm now so I hate that we have to supplement but otherwise she wakes up earlier hungry

  My LO hasn't nursed since Sunday. It breaks my heart! He was biting down and just refusing to latch. I tried EVERYTHING to get him back to breast, but finally decided to just exclusively pump. I'm also having to supplement with formula because I don't pump enough. My plan is to try a couple "power pump" sessions on te weekends to try and ramp my supply back up.
