cryosurgery and infertility

I had a Cryo about two years ago. I recently got married and have started TTC. I'm 37 with a teenager. I was wondering if anyone has had difficulty conceiving after their Cryo.

Normally a cryo is done due to abnormal PAPs. They freeze the cervix to correct the problem. So, I guess what I'm asking is if the cervix can be scarred or closed due to the surgery or the mucus it produces can be affected.

I vote that your cervix is scared. You would be too if someone froze you.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist

    Check with your doctor.

Do you mean the surgery you have when your periods are heavy? This surgery is not reccomended if you plan on ttc. My SIL had it and the dr made sure she wasn't wanting children as yes it will lesson your chances of conceiving naturally.
