has anyone had the calcium or "white" spot on babies heart?

  I'm sorry about this scary finding, but I really would trust your doctor's assessment. With regard to DS, have you had any other testing?

  They found the same thing on my babies heart but i had the Verifi test done at 10 weeks and because everything was perfect my doctor said she isn't going to look at it again and she wishes she didn't have to tell me because she knows its going to be ok. I hope that helps i know its scary i lost 3 last year and when she said that i freaked out but she said absolutely nothing to worry about.

  My DD had this. They said I had no other indicators of ds so I didn't have the amnio done. Today she's a normal 4 year old.

  My baby has it. It's called an echogenic focus. There really isn't substantial evidence out there to link it to down syndrome so try not to worry. I had the Harmony test done around 12 weeks and our results were normal. A friend said her son had one too but it disappeared before he was born. If your doctor isn't concerned, then there's no reason for you to be.

  DS had these. We had a fetal echocardiagram done due to some family issues and the doctor noted the white spots. He called it a "soft marker" and said that since our NT scan had looked good, there was no reason for concern. We now have an amazing and normally developing 14 month old.

  I had an echogenic focus with my first dd. It is considered a soft marker. If all other tests have been fine, it's nothing to be concerned with. I had chosen to not do first trimester screening, so once the marker was noted on ultrasound, they followed up with a repeat scan several weeks later. Long story short, the marker was gone at the next scan and all was fine
