Morning sickness before a positive home test

How common is this? I'm just curious if anyone has experienced it... And I'm grasping for straws as to why I am on day four of what feels like a low grade migraine. Yes I POAS and it was negative. I know, I know, not pregnant at this time yada yada don't ask us if you are pregnant. I AM NOT ASKING THAT. I will test again in a week. But right now after an afternoon of Dr. Google, I'm curious about ya'lls experiences.

I had an idea I was pregnant this time when my reflux came back with a vengeance for no apparent reason. I had negative tests until I was 14 days "late". But really I ovulated late. Either way, my reflux was awful long before my positive test. That was my main symptom last time and is the same this time around. Wait a week and test again like you said.

Edit to clarify...I just reread and it sounds like I'm saying my reflux started as soon as i thought my period was late. It was about 4 days before I got a positive test. Purely anecdotal.

  • My migraines are linked to menstrual hormones. I just had one last week and got my period two days ago, which was 2 weeks late because I ovulated twice during this cycle.

  • With LO my morning sickness came on two weeks after I turned a test. I had two negative tests before, and also had no symptoms.
  • I don't understand the question
  • I had heartburn for the first time in forever on a Wednesday and thought something was up so tested and nada. Tested on Thursday when I had heartburn for the second time in forever and nada.
Tested Friday morning and it was positive.
I do think you can have symptoms before turning a test positive.
  • I have had three positive pregnancy tests. I did not have any symptoms before any of them.

  • This thread makes me nervous I POAS when I thought it should have been the week of my period and twice got negative tests. But now it's been 3more weeks (total of 7) since LMP and you all have me thinking I should test again!
  • Same here. I keep getting nauseous, headache, feeling very tired, but negative tests. Then my "period" came two days early and stopped just after 2 days. I'll wait a while and POAS again. Time will tell. Hmmmmm
  • I conceived DD on day 1 of my honeymoon approx. Can't have been ANY earlier as we were using protection before then. By day 10 of my honeymoon I was feeling sick and my nipples were incredibly sensitive. This carried on for the rest of the holiday. We joked about how amazing it would be if I was pregnant already after only ten days of trying. I did a test on day 14 when we got home which was negative. I did a test a week later which was positive (maximum of 21 days after conception). So my morning sickness / sensitivity kicked in after only about ten days!

    Sorry phone issues.
  • Who me?!?! It has been a while since I posted...been lurking though. Didn't think anyone noticed.
Interesting turn of events on this board. :D
  • @RedDawnsRevenge‌ If it is not possible, how do you explain people's experiences? Faulty tests? I mean the % accuracy is only like 60 when you are several days before period, so that could be part of it.... But not all.
