My mom had this done when she was younger and it was %100 spot on. She did it to my brother and me (on the hand) and so far the ring got it right for my brother (he has a son) and I (should be a girl) will soon find out.

I forgot about this! I'll have to try it. I know people say "It's got a 50/50 chance of being right", but it was right with my daughter as well
