What three positive qualities do you most hope your kids grow up to have?

Kindness
Self reliance
Common sense

Happiness would be # 4 but I hope that 1-3 would be enough to ensure happiness, too.

    *this would be my DH if he had an inch of empathy... I'm hoping he imparts common sense and a work ethic, while I'll make sure the kid has some meta cognitive skills ;)
