4 month sleep regression

My 4-month-old has been sleeping in her crib since exactly 1 month, did great with the transaction and has also been sleeping through the night for weeks. I lately noticed she started getting up again for a middle of the night for a feeding, the last 3 nights she has been up 2x in the middle of the night/early morning.
I googled sleep patterns and found the "4 month sleep regression" is an actual thing. Have you experienced this? Any suggestions of things I could do to help her sleep through the night again or am I just going to have to wait it out? Does it last long??

Thanks!

Re: 4 month sleep regression

  • We didn't but a lot of my mommy friends did. I am jealous you have any sleep through the nights! We are 5+ months here and he is up 2x a night to feed and usually still another for comfort.

  • I would wait it out. It may be a phase/leap.

  • I'm going through this right now with my 4 month old. He used to sleep through the night & now is up 2-3 times per night. Search for wonderweeks "4th leap", and you can find a lot more information on this phase on the boards.
