Vibrating belly?

This has been discussed in the past based on my search but I was curious if anyone is experiencing it with this pregnancy. I felt this once about a week ago, and then twice today already. I can only describe it as one particular spot on the left side of my belly vibrating for a few seconds. Or it feels like tiny little fists are using that part of my stomach as a punching bag and punching really really rapidly. Or it feels like the baby is shaking. It's a bit below my belly button, and probably in line with where the top of my uterus would be, but what do I know :p Is it muscle spasms? The baby doing something really weird? I mean, when I look down when this is happening I can see it vibrating....... I'm not concerned, and I plan to ask my doctor when I see him on Friday anyway, but in the mean time.......anyone else? It's so weird!

    Lol.. this happened to me last night. It was so weird.. Was it vibrating when you inhale and then stopping? Or continuous? I have no idea what it was, but it felt funny. How far are you?

    Was there music playing when this occurred?  Your baby may have been having a tiny little dance party.

    I'm 15 weeks 5 days today. And no, it's not from doing anything specific. The last time it happened was while I was eating lunch and it went from vibrating to maybe a few kicks in that area? I'm a STM and still don't know if it's really baby moving or just muscle spasms. And it only lasts a few seconds - 5 seconds tops. I'm leaning toward muscle spasm because each time I've felt it, it's been in the same general area.

    Just wait until the last few weeks...my baby would practice breathing. Now, THAT is a trippy feeling!
    First came love, then came marriage - Oct 31, 09
    Then came a miscarriage March '11
    Then came a baby in the baby carriage May 16, 12

    Waiting on our second little peanut!

    I'm only 14w3d. FTM, I would have no idea if it was what they call quickening or just some weird thing going on with muscles... it was very noticeable though!

    I'll be 16 weeks exactly tomorrow and around my 13 , 14 week mark I experienced the same thing for several days. Just sitting at home in bed or on the couch. I haven't felt it again since. It was so weird!

    Mine vibrates to my heartbeat. Our blood is pumping harder so if I pay attention to my belly, I can feel and see it happening. Maybe different than your symptom though?

    I have experienced this moment as well, but it has only happen twice and I haven't felt it since. When you feel this does it continue, have you felt it more than once or everyday? I'm a first time mom and I'm so nervous!!

    That is exactly how I described feeling the baby move for the first time to people with my first. It feels like when your phone phantom vibrates! Totally normal and it only gets better and move obvious that your LO is moving!
