AW--update on me and a question...

So my appointment on Friday wasn't terrible but it wasn't 100% the best news.  I still have some fluid in my ute but the c-scar defect is not there anymore.  So my doctor was very positive about going forward with a March FET.

I was on BCPs this past cycle to keep my lining thin for this cycle, I took my last active pill on Friday and my doc said I could go off of them but I need to call the practice IVF nurse to make sure I can stay off of them for a cycle before my FET or I might have to go right back on them.

I HATE being on BCPs and would prefer to stay off of them totally if possible.  Has anyone ever done an FET without being on BCPs before hand?  If my period stays regular I would get my period this week and then again at the end of February and my FET isn't scheduled until the week of 3/23.  What do you think?

FET end of October 2014 cancelled due to fluid in uterus due to possible c-scar defect
Surgery scheduled 12/12/14 to fix possible isthmocele
3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    I did one natural FET but I have no ability ever to get pregnant naturally by DH because of his dx so maybe that is why they allowed no bcp?

    I just saw this. I too hate BCPs, but don't know the answers to your question. Have you talked to the IVF nurse yet? What was her take?

    @flamingemu I go back on BCPs this Friday and lupron starts on 2/27!  No time for another cycle!  It seems like it's so far away but Sunday is Feb 1st already!
