Calf cramps/ Charley Horse

I'm a FTM, Is there anyone else that's suffering from calf cramps... I've gotten them in the middle of the night 3 times in the less than 2 weeks and its so painful it wakes me out of my sleep. Twice it was in both legs at the same time. Googled and apparently its a pregnancy thing so hopefully I'm not alone, not that I'm wishing this on any of you!

    I had this terrible with my first pregnancy! Stretching helps and getting plenty of potassium. I know its not fun; I really hope I dont have it with this one.

    Like she said, potassium and I prefer zero calorie powerade for the electrolytes. Also, monitor your salt intake. That can cause cramps.

    Are you getting enough potassium? Eat a banana and see if you get them tonight.

    Make sure you stay hydrated too! I get these too in the middle of the night! Its no fun!

    I've been told to drink more milk if that happens. I get sick when I drink reg milk so I've been drinking chocolate almond milk and that's been working well for me.

    I had them so bad with my first.. I would wake up screaming. Doctor recommends bananas and coconut water. Stretching does help too but mostly I would just wait for them to pass. Hopefully these tips help and you don't have them for too long.

    Omg yes and I don't only get them at night I get them Everytime I bend down to take off my pants in my legs it's horrible.
