17 weeks and 4 days

in 2nd Trimester
Tomorrow I will be 17 weeks and 4 days and I go for an ultrasound. Just wondering what all to expect!!

    Are you going to find out the gender? 

    My wife and I are 2 or 3 days behind you (due July 6th) and we're finding out the gender next week.

    Yes we want to know! My husband didn't at first but he changed his mind so we are looking forward to a special day tomorrow! That is if they can tell yet!

    Good luck! We were unsuccessful at finding out at 16 weeks. Hopefully the baby is cooperative. Fingers crossed for our next one this week!

    No. You will not find out your child's gender for a few years.

    When I tell people "I will find out my baby's sex" they look at me like I am nuts. Gender and sex must be something only on The Bump because no one differs between the two in real life.

    With that being said, I get the difference so I know why we say sex instead of gender. But FWIW this seems like a new age concept and not many people are on board with it or understand why the difference is made.

    I am 17w5d and we will find out Feb 9. I am so excited!

    Which is why we educate people who aren't aware.
