Help!

I woke up this morning with a pretty bad menstrual like cramp. No bleeding or spotting though. Is anyone else going through this? I'm 6 wks

Re: Help!

  • Yup several times. It's normal. Your body is going through so many changes.

  • They say that cramping is normal, but call your doctor if you're concerned. That's what they're there for. ☺
  • At the doctor now. They are just pulling blood for levels. That's all they can do right now.

My worry is I'm overweight and they put me on progesterone yesterday because my levels were low. So, my risk is a little higher. But it's comforting that I have a good doctor and other mommies helping me along the way
  • I'm told the progesterone can increase the cramping. I'm having some too but I'm trying to stay calm. Its possible the surge in progesterone is just stimulating some growth and blood flow down there and causing some cramps. Keeping you in my prayers!
  • That's great news! Hope you have a healthy and happy pregnancy!

  • By next Friday I will see my peanut for the first time.

I feel sorry for the nurse already, I'm going to be crying like a little girl lol
  • I cried when I first saw my baby, it was a beautiful moment! Your nurse will be used to it! ;)
