My water broke at 2:45am! Weirdest feeling in the world lol I guess she didn't want to be induced. I'm 4cm right now. Hopefully my next update will include pictures of my baby girl! \:D/

My husband and I stayed up late cleaning and watching movies and didn't decide to go to bed until about 2am. We stayed up for a while longer laying in bed watching funny YouTube videos and planning our day before company arrived. At 2:45am I decided it was bed time for me and rolled over and felt a small gush. I thought it was my mucus plug still coming out but when I sat up a larger gush came out and I told my husband that I either peed myself or my water broke. He helped me off the bed and when I stood up a gush came down my leg. He grabbed a towel for me and started packing up our phone chargers and his hospital bag while I went into the bathroom to clean up. We were both very calm but the closer we got to the hospital the more anxious I got.
We arrived at the hospital at 3:15am. When I was admitted to a room they checked me and said I was 4cm and that my water had meconium in it. They started me on pitocin at 6am. I had some strong and inconsistent contractions. I got the epidural at 8am. I was checked again at 9am and was 5cm. I had to have an oxygen mask put on because Zoey didn't like it when the nurse raised the pitocin level, so instead of going up every half hour she moved me up every hour. From 11am to 2:30pm I stayed at 6cm but had the best naps ever! They also added an internal contraction monitor around 11am and by 2pm they had amnio fluid pumped into my uterus to try and flush out some of the meconium.
By 4pm I was 9cm and a half hour later I was at 10cm and told to do some practice pushes. I did 3 and my nurse told me to stop because I was too good at it and if I kept pushing she would be out before the doctor got here. It took the doc 30 minutes to get to the room. After that it took 6 pushes and she was out! I had a level 1 tear inside but other than that every thing was awesome! My nurse was amazing and my OB was shocked that Zoey came so quick for being my first baby!
After she was born I had an hour of skin to skin time with her and she latched for 30 minutes! She spent some quality time with daddy and then family came in. She has a full head of black curls that I can't wait to see after her bath! I'm just in awe of the entire day! Thank you ladies for all of your support!
