So random & crazy, but has anyone else heard that women with small feet have a hard time delivering vaginally? I hope this is some crazy tale, because I wear a 2 1/2 in kids shoes.
I've heard this too! I'm from Ireland and I've been told by my mom and my MIL that when they were having children (late 80's) the rule was that you HAD TO have a c-section, no choice, if your feet were smaller than a size 5 (think that's a US size 7?)...my feet are a size 3 and pretty tiny! Thankfully, that rule is no longer applied here!
Edited: I should probably clarify that I'm not concerned about my small feet affecting my ability to give birth!
It sounds like a wives tale to me. But one could argue that there is a connection because women with small feet are usually smaller in size overall and therefore their pelvis is smaller potentially making birth more difficult. I highly doubt it has anything to do with your feet. It all comes down to baby size and your pelvis....if the baby can't fit it doesn't matter if you wear a 2 or an 11

I think being in different countries, the sizes are different.
That makes sense. but STILL!!!
