Tuesday symptoms*

I haven't seen one started for today and figured it could cut back on repeat threads about symptoms.
I have been sleeping horribly. I feel like the tiny human is using my bladder as a trampoline and my hips kill me if I stay in one position for too long. I relocated to the recliner last night and got a few hours of sleep but I can't see sleeping in it for the rest of this pregnancy.

Re: Tuesday symptoms*

  • I feel ya on the protesting hips. I sit in a chair most of the day, a super comfortable chair, but for at least 50 minutes at a time. When I get up to walk my clients out every hour I involuntarily grumble.

  • I feel great! Other than peeing every 10 minutes and having shortness of breath as I walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to my classes!
  • Hips are bothering me, too! I found some stretches that I'm going to try - hopefully they'll help, I'm sick of being so achey!

  • Hips killing me - can't take a deep enough breath and feel like my baby is falling out from the pressure I'm feeling! Losing my mind having to do nothing all day! I don't expend enough energy to sleep at night - so I'm just up all the time! Fitbit tells me I'm averaging 4.5-6 hours of sleep (but it's a broken sleep!) erg!
  • Also, maybe tmi, when I empty my bladder, especially if it is particularly full (like when first getting up in the morning), I feel a cramp like pain in my side. I will def ask my doc about it on Friday bc I'm a little concerned it could be kidney related. I was just wondering if it's one of those normal pregnancy symptoms I am unaware of.

  • I'm at the cancer center getting a blood transfusion as I type, baby girl is apparently into the blood because she is bouncing around like crazy!

The nurses are all nice but one who keeps getting shitty when she has to unhook me to pee. Like, no seriously I just enjoy sitting here long than I have to so I'm pretending to pee to annoy you and make this longer on me.. Orrrrr I'm PREGNANT and there is a baby tap dancing on my bladder!

I love when ppl forget they are getting paid to do their job... Smh go pee again lol
  • I hear you all on the hips thing! It's only a problem at home though, at work I sit on an exercise ball and have no issues, you ladies should try it (if allowed, obvi).

Still fighting morning sickness but actually only in the mornings now, so that's an improvement.

Also think I've had Braxton Hicks a couple of times. Water and rest seems to make them go away, so I'm not too worried. I have an appt tomorrow afternoon so I'm going to mention it to my Dr.

I'm getting weird lower leg cramps at night and will start choking down bananas to see if that helps with potassium levels. (Bananas gross me out).

And it's not like she's doing anything.. She is literally the one who sits in the room with everyone getting treatments and gets water and helps people pee...

I'm sorry, did someone ask you to do the job your getting paid to do?? That must be difficult. Why don't you explain to this room full of VERY sick people how hard your life is!?

  • I've been having a lot of pain in the tops of my thighs. Usually the last 2 hours of my work day are miserable! I'm on my feet about 80% of my day. I was scheduled to work 9 days in a row and baby wasn't allowing it so I used a personal day today.... Feeling guilty :(
  • @mathistm‌ has there been a fitness check in thread created again? I come to you for this as I see you as the peacekeeper of the realm :)

I get cramping in my uterine area when I empty my bladder. It's usually after I've been holding it for a while too. It's apparently normal, so I wouldn't worry. I'd mention it to your doctor just in case, but don't stress. :-)

Haha I blame my middle child syndrome.
@tanners5360‌ it doesn't look like there has been one since last week. @leenziepops‌ used to start them regularly but I haven't seen her around in awhile.

  • Definitely feeling the hip thing too.. and lots of achy pains all over. For some reason I seem more achy on the left side than the right even though I'm constanly rotating to try and get comfy -_-
Thanks to snowy weather I'm having an easy day though! Hope everyone feels better ;)
  • Definitely feeling the hip pain and leg cramps, and sleep has not been my friend very much lately either. My skin is super dry and itchy, I've tried baby oil and Unscented lotion but it's one of those things that just doesn't want to leave. It's cold and snowing where I live and I think I'm getting sick too.
  • I feel a migraine coming on. Hoping to make it through the work day. Ugh. Tylenols sucks. And if I take my Rx, it will knock me out. Can't win for losing. :(

  • Wow everyone is experiencing the hip pains too. I thought i was abnormal and shouldn't feel these type of pains until 3rd trimester. It's hard to sleep at night. I keep switching from side to side. My appetite has picked up quite a bit since i finally past the nausea phase. I also get short of breathe from the slightest movements. Other than that i feel pretty good and full of energy.
  • 21 weeks and my ankles are super swollen. Like double normal size. :(

A few of us on here were feeling this a couple weeks ago and my doctor said it's totally normal round ligament pain. I have been feeling a little better now that I'm over 21 weeks, we'll see if it comes back.

Baby girl is moving like crazy in there today. She must feel how excited I am to finally know it's a her after my a/s yesterday!

  • Had a/s today and all looked good so im feeling happy! Super stressed at work, need to figure out how to cope better.
  • unable to sleep through the night. nose is stuffed beyond belief. typical ligament stretching/associated pains.

Started getting more energy since I am back on the B12 shots.

  • I had been feeling relatively smug about how easy I've been having it but I think that may be coming back to bite me in the arse. I'm in the process of moving house and spent the weekend packing up and lugging around bags and boxes. On top of that I think the baby is having a growth spurt because my stomach seems to have majorly expanded this week. Freaked myself out for a bit with braxton hicks on Saturday, but I'm resting a bit more and they've settled down. Now I'm just knackered and achy, and I think I've twisted my left hip. I'll be so glad when this move is over!

Try cocoa butter... It's been helping with the stretching feeling I've been having.

  • Feeling the hip pain and lack of sleep...i tend to be wide awake in the middle of the night and it takes forever to get back to sleep...the tossing and turning from side to side all night and the constant peeing dont help my sleep either...just can't get comfortable even with my pregnancy pillow...and i am getting numbness/weakness in my arms...have to ask my doctor about that one at my next appointment...
  • 18 weeks with baby #2 and I feel like I did at the end with DD. Bacne, swollen feet, and just plain exhaustion. Plus my boobs have doubled in size already.

    ...and on a rant

Everything that can go wrong has gone wrong lately. My grandmother passed, my mom's in the hospital waiting for emergency surgery, my husband lost his job, my best friend/cat omailey is gone aaaand my step son that struggles with impulsivity and anger is on a medication change. I can usually tolerate a lot but being pregnant is not helping me keep my cool.

You poor thing! Hang in there- things will turn around for you soon ( creepy Internet hug)

  • I miss sleeping on my Tummy :(
  • Well today was kinda crappy. In nursing school and while my instructor was teaching some new things I felt like I was gonna pass out so I had to sit down. Ironically enough we were doing blood sugars today so we took mine and it was at a 58. Which is low. So I ate my lunch early and had a juice. It then went up to 128 and I felt good. Now back home I feel like crap again. I know I need to up my protein so I had some peanut butter and almonds. Wondering if I should skip out of work tonight or go. Blahhhh
  • Feeling yuck today. But it's because I ate the wrong kind of eggs... Corn & soy allergy, so have to watch what kind of eggs I eat.

But baby girl is very active today!
