my bladder is being abused

Anyone else's little bundle squeezing on their bladder yet lol. My little nugget has started hurting my ribs (on the right side so far). She's abusing my insides. It's funny to me tho but just wondering if anyone else feels it yet too.

Re: my bladder is being abused

  • If he is positioned a certain way I feel so much pressure on my bladder... that's the only organ that's being abused (so far) but I'm sure there is more to come!

  • Idk but I was literally up 7x to pee last night!!! So annoying!!
  • My DD thinks my bladder is a fabulous trampoline. And it's only going to get better from here on out. :-/
  • Yea I'm 21+4. So idk if that's too soon to be under my ribs, but for sure feels like she's beating it up. I'm a ftm so idk exactly where she should be.
  • I feel like my LO is laying on my bladder constantly !

Yeah. That's not your baby in your ribs. ^^^ she posted a picture of where it will be :)
  • Maybe I'm just getting sore in the ribs idk lol something was bothering me the last two days. Maybe the way I was sitting . Ah well it will happen eventually lol
  • Your uterus isn't very big yet but your organs are smashed up!!! I have trouble breathing already.
  • My right rib also hurts. I believe it's the muscles surrounding it from all the stretching and pulling. Your feelings are legit. Mostly because they are yours. :)
  • Yes... I've been feeling the exact same way. All the sudden I get this strong pressure on my bladder that makes me feel like I have to pee NOW, even when there's hardly anything in there.
  • Bladder question. Anyone having a cramp after emptying their particularly full bladder?

  • Yes, it is horrible and uncomfortable. Glad im not the only one. :)
  • Yes I have many times. I think it's cause my bladder is so full. I have to pee a lot and it's like a urgency gotta go right now! Reminds me of Nina needs to go.. On the Disney channel! Lol cramps fades quickly after.
  • It's a spasm. I self Cath and if I wait until I'm full my bladder will spasm. It even grabs the Cath and I have to wait until it lets go to pull it out.

    Don't listen to anybody's sarcasm. Like @poohbearlove12

@‌NEENT10 said it right: "Your feelings are legit. Mostly because they are yours."

Just make sure you read weekly updates about what's going on inside you. I personally love to watch animated youtube videos about this :)
  • Baby loves to sit on my bladder when it's full. I'm sick at the moment and because of baby being on my bladder when i sneeze I also end up peeing on myself. The joys of pregnancy lol
  • How can your little one be kicking under your ribs if your uterus isn't even up that high as of yet?
  • This is how I end up stopping at the Dunkin Donuts in between my commuter train and home to use the bathroom, feel guilty, buy a donut, change mind, buy a half-dozen instead for better deal, have the lady offer me 12 for price of six since it's late in the day, and then I eat a million donuts. THANKS baby sitting on my bladder!
  • I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this way lol. It's going by so fast it's crazy
  • Lol, it is definately possible for you to be feeling pressure in your ribs. Your growing uterus is pushing many organs around and even if the baby itself is not pushing into your ribs, you are not wrong in feeling what you feel. I was just at the doc last week discussing an issue I've been having with being shorter on breath than normal- Nothing serious, just annoying and makes me light headed! It really depends on the size of the person. Pictures and diagrams go off what is going on in the average person. No person (or pregnancy for that matter!) is exactly the same. I am several inches under than 5 ft tall and the measured length between the very bottom of my pelvis to my rib cage is a bit under 11 1/2 inches....so poor baby doesn't have much room to grow but out at this point! Which means, yes, my little one is very close to my rib cage already and I'm barely past the half-way point! Then again, I couldn't make it to full term with my daughter and am told I probably won't be able to with this little one either =(
  • I have actually just started feeling some pains in my ribcage area two days ago.. Like PPs said I think it's more a shifting of organs than baby but everyone is different! I'm with you guys on the growth spurt too- I was/am pretty overweight so I haven't really been feeling that baby bump feeling and then all of the sudden, woomp there it is!!
    Good luck ladies!!
  • I have to pee like every 20 minutes so that's great.
