If you have a recent BFP (and/or if you are new to the board), please let me know when you want to be added to this list.
How is everyone feeling? How is pregnancy treating you and your partner this week? Any updates to share?
QOTW: Here in Massachusetts and much of New England we are gearing up for a winter blizzard. How does everyone like to spend a snow day? What are you most looking forward to doing with your little ones in the snow?

Re: Pregnany Check-In (Jan. 26, 2015)
I had my 34w check-up last week. I made it to 34w!!!! Baby girl's heartbeat was strong my BP was good and my weight went down slightly again. We had the appointment with the midwife who delivered Brynlee and she said that although my weight has not consistently been going up since November she looks at the big picture which is that I have gained 26lbs this pregnancy which is a good amount of weight to have gained. My fundal height was also measuring 2 weeks behind when all along I had been measuring right on. She would have scheduled an ultrasound but I already have a growth scan scheduled for 36w so we will get answers then.
Can I just say that Wednesday of this week is my last 17P shot!!!! I don't know if the 17P kept her in there or if my body is doing it on its own all I know is that I am 35w pregnant so whatever kept her tucked inside of me for this long I am thankful for. Anyone who will have to go through 17P shots they really aren't bad. Other then in itchy back side there really aren't any side effects. I was hesitant to take them but am glad that I did.
QOTW: I plan to call in pregnant tomorrow because R isn't coming home tonight (she has to open her store) and there is no way I am going to go out and shovel 2 feet of snow. If I wasn't pregnant snow days are typically days to drink wine and play board games and maybe snuggle on the couch and watch a movie. With our little one I hope to also enjoy board games. As well as sledding and just running around the back yard in the snow.

Good Morning All,
I'm 10W3D today. I took the plunge on Saturday and started to wean myself off of the Prometrium. So far, so good. It still freaks me out though. I don't have another appointment until next week Wednesday for my 1st Trimester Screen, so I just need to stay positive and push through.
I will say that I'm really shocked at how different this second pregnancy is. I'm not sure if it's because I'm more AMA than last time (40-41, instead of 38-39) or if it has more to do with my body saying "Oh I know what this is, let's just gain ALL the weight now." Anyway, it's a trip.
Anyway, @Amber&Reva and @Mrs&MrsK I couldn't be more excited for you both! You are so close now, I can't wait to see these babies!!!
QOTW: Yeah, so, we don't really have snow days. I mean I'm in MN, so they cancel school/daycare and all of that, but it's not a happy "Free" day for us. In fact it's the exact opposite. While S works at a University where classes get cancelled, her work continues. So she has to get there come hell or high water. And I work in healthcare administration, so since we don't just let our Drs and Nurses say "Oh sorry, I can't come in today. No one get sick!" we don't get the day off at the headquarters either.
Mostly those "Snow days" are a giant panic where I'm calling around to every person I know to see if anyone can watch my kid.
We need new jobs.

We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
1st ultrasound (3/6 6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.
***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***

@mrs&mrsk, I remember last year my wife was 37 weeks pregnant and I sat glued to the tv watching for snowstorms and praying that she didn't go into labor during one!
9weeks3days here. Morning sickness is still going strong. It seems to be my only strong symptom at the moment. Wednesday we are suppose to have our first MW appt at a birth center but with the snowstorm, I'm worried it will be canceled. This is a new practice for us. The practice that we went to for R is an hour away without traffic. We have moved since having him and with us wanting to do all of the laboring at home, we knew that an hour drive wouldn't work for us.
I hope I get in to see them this week, I'd hate to have to reschedule. Being an IVF patient, I'm used to weekly appts with u/s so now I need to get used to be treated like everyone else:P
QOTW: Snow days seems to have a whole new meaning with kids. When I dropped R off at daycare today they told me they're closing an hour early and closed tomorrow. Yikes! It's my first time having to call out of work for daycare issues. I guess we will hunker down tomorrow and ride out the storm.

14 weeks today so I am rolling over that 2nd trimester hump. Already starting on the nursery. Picking paint colors and bouncing around ideas. I HATE painting but I am too cheap to pay anyone to do it, so the struggle begins.
It is so exciting reading about everyone nearing their due dates.

Ultrasound at 6w4d shows a single, fluttering heartbeat. Say hello to Sticky Ricki!
Better late than never this week! I've been traveling for work a lot this month, so have been a bit MIA. But, loved reading and catching up with everyone and how they're doing. I'm almost 29 weeks and remember like it was yesterday when my name/pregnancy date was on the bottom of the list and we are now close to the top! Wow! It's the same feeling you get when you created your registry and the "days countdown" was so high and seemed so far away, but you begin to see that number creep down. It's crazy and wonderful and surreal at the same time to think we will meet this little guy in 11 weeks! Good luck to everyone and enjoy the journey, because this special time starts to fly by at a certain point in your pregnancy!
We had a follow-up appointment with the perinatal specialist yesterday and received two pieces of news we weren't at all expecting. Frist, we have a marginally inserted umbilical cord. This basically means that the umbilical cord is not in the center/ideal location of the placenta and is instead off to the side. The concern here is that the baby may not receive the nutrients and oxygen he needs as the pregnancy progresses. So, we will be monitored closely over the next weeks to ensure he is not falling behind in growth. Currently, he is 2.9 lbs/ 45th percentile..so right in the middle. This is great news and we hope that the not-so-great umbilical cord placement continues to be a non-issue.
The second piece of information we got is a little more personal for this little guy, thus we have decided NOT to share with anyone other than our parents. So, I am selfishly using you guys as my outlet to share my feelings and fears
. The perinatal specialist thinks that our son may have an issue called Hypospadias. In normal speak, this is where the urethra opening is not in the center of the tip of the penis (Crazy, but, I have researched and thought about penises more in the past 12 hours than ever in my life!). There are varying degrees of this disorder some that require no intervention, most that require a surgery between 6-12 months old and some that require multiple surgeries. The prognosis is good that with the proper surgery and care that our son will have a fully functioning, working body part, for which I am very thankful. And, in the whole scheme of things that could happen or go wrong with the miracle of bringing life into this world, this condition is probably very minor, but I can't help but feel scared for my son. Scared to hand him over to doctors for surgery when he is so young and small, scared that he will have lesser function and life-long complications and scared that he will have something difficult to overcome. I know we all have things to overcome in life, but as parents, we want our children's lives to be as "easy" and joyous as possible. And, let's face it...even though we try to combat it...boys/men value their manhood and put a lot of value on that one damn body part! I also feel guilty because the potential reasons for the condition are AMA, overweight, taking progesterone and assisted reproduction. Well, damn...evidently, I put this little boy in the middle of a "perfect storm"!
I know that no matter the final diagnosis/prognosis that this little boy will have an amazing life, will be loved and will do great things. And, I appreciate you guys letting me vent about my feelings. This is SO minor in the big picture, but it feels heavy right now. Thanks for reading this novel. I'll take any good thoughts, prayers or mojo that you can give in hopes that when we go back to the doctor in a few weeks that we get a good report.
I'm sorry for the not great news. It makes for a stressful pregnancy when all you want to do is enjoy it carefree. Sounds like they are watching for IUGR. Hopefully both issues have good outcomes for you.
