Stomach bug

hello,

I'm confused what has happened?

Anyway, has anyone gotten the stomach bug and NOT had their little one contract it?

Any advice? I nurse him about 10% of his overall liquid intake :/

    Are you wondering if LO could get the bug by being around you or by nursing him?
    I didn't have a stomach bug but I did have a nasty cold a while back. I contacted La Leche League and they said it absolutely fine to nurse.. Especially because when you're sick you make antibodies that will benefit baby if they were to get sick.
    Hope that helps. And hope you get feeling better! It is not easy caring for kids when you're sick!!!

    Thanks. I've been nursing, I guess I'm wondering if there is any chance he won't get it. If it's happened to anyone before.

    My LO is EBF and still got the bug from daycare. I think the best you can do is wash hands all the time, and keep all baby's stuff clean. The good news was it was a very quick recovery for her! Less than 24 hours.

    I got it, H got it, H's family got it, (all from me) but LO never got it. So your LO might not too. Fingers crossed for you.
