What say you, August '15 moms? Would you serve alcohol to the adult guests of a toddler's/child's birthday party?

Nothing personal to anyone, it just seems ridiculous to me that kids are handed so much...
How is celebrating your child's birthday that comes once per year handing them so much?
She is 6 and has had a big party for 1 (given) ,2 (backyard pool party) and 5 (Chuckie Cheese).
My Brother and Sister in law throw my Nephew a HUGE themed party EVERY YEAR. She does an amazing job but it's SO over the top. I couldn't/ refuse to do it every year.
Alcohol- depends on your crowd. If it's family and your friends and their children have at it. If it's all kids, not so much.
You guys rock!

This. And you kept saying "Since when" as if celebrating a child's birthday every year is something new, which it's not.
It's fine if you're not into it, however, its not an "unheard of" thing like you make it sound.
