How to deal with nausea?

even after the m/c scare, baby seems to be doing great!
Unfortunately this means crippling nausea. I cant keep anything down :/ anyone have any tips?

Re: How to deal with nausea?

  • What do you mean when you say you can't keep anything down? If you are immediately throwing up after eating or drinking, you may have hyperemesis gravidarum and should call your doctor.

  • Preggie pops and ginger gum are a major food group for me right now. Also snack on saltines before getting out of bed and don't move too quickly.
  • I called my doc this morning and was told I can take anything for nausea. She mentioned Dramamine. I will be stopping at Walgreen's at lunch!

I also ordered the B-natal lozenges online. Hopefully something works!
  • I'm taking diclectin (b6+unisom) and it really helps the nausea. I nibble original triscuits when I feel sick, with sips of water. I'm hoping to buy preggie pops today. I have zofran on hand for vomiting, but I've only needed it once (I had HG last time, so I had some left that hadn't expired).
