Off-Gassing Mattress

Ladies,

My husband and I just bought a new memory foam mattress. We were told by the store that the mattress would be stinky when they first delivered it, but just open a window and turn on a fan and it will be good to go by the time you go to bed that night.

Well, I just woke up to go to the restroom, and I had a nose bleed. I never have nose bleeds. Ever. Like maybe 5 in my life. I can still smell the fumes from the mattress a bit, and I'm really concerned now that I may be harming my baby. Are these fumes toxic? Has anyone else experienced this?

I get random nose bleeds all the time especially in the winter. It could just be the dry air from the heater vs the new mattress.
