I'd like to know more about them as well. I see the ones that slide up, like underwear, but I can't picture that working with pads and all the other stud happening down there......so do you buy one that cinches instead?

The bellefit has the hook/eye closure like the undergarments for a wedding dress.
I used a Belly Bandit with DS and will use it again this time. I'm not sure how much it actually "shrank" my tummy, but I liked that it helped me feel less jiggly. If you are thinking of the Belly Bandit, I would look into it sooner rather than later as the size you buy goes by your belly measurement. They recommend measuring around your 8th month of pregnancy to get a good fit.
I have been told by numerous people they didn't like the belly bandit because you couldn't wear it unser clothes. A coworker of mine said she ended up buying tight shapewear that covered the thighs and stomach because it smoothed everything out and she could wear it under clothes. I'm thinking of going that route.

I wore it under clothes. Depending on what you have on it can be noticeable, it kind of creates a "ridge" near the top of your rib cage where the wrap ends. The first few week after DS was born I wore looser fitting or maternity tops and you couldn't see it under those.
I've done the bamboo belly bandit, don't recommend it as it creases and rolls up. It did definitely help with support and slimming postpartum so after much research I will be trying either the bellefit or wink ultra bikini (which has three "stages" of hooks for more adjustments as you shrink down and they're on the side rather than the front so less noticeable when wearing a thinner shirt).
To me, the bellefit still looks like it's going to be a mess down in the danger zone. I've worn shape wear like that before and had it digging into my legs resulting in fat bulging out. It just doesn't look efficient to me. What am I missing? On a serious note, are there actual benefits to wearing one? Those who didn't wear one for their first child but now say they will....why?
I think it depends on what you need it for. I'm going to use one this time because it'll be my fourth baby and I have a slight umbilical hernia. I think it can help with getting your muscles back together, especially if combined with special exercises. If you just want the smoother appearance, I would think shape wear would be sufficient.

I used the belly bandit too and loved it!! I just wasn't able to use it as long as I liked cause it got to big to quickly. I measured in the 8th month like it said to do but probably should have did I earlier.
My friend said while your stomach/ute is shrinking down it helps to keep the skin taunt so it doesn't end up as saggy. Again, this was her opinion. I haven't used one before. She has used one with one child, and didn't with the other.
Zulilly has some on sale today with pretty reasonable prices, they are a Gabriella brand... Anyone heard anything about these? The only one I saw reviews in were the bellefit.
I used the bamboo Belly Bandit. It wasn't the most comfortable. I didn't wear it religiously but maybe several hours each day. It also didn't fit me right away postpartum. I do however think it helped and will use it again this time.

Side note: the bellefit is cheaper on amazon and of course 2 day shipping if you have prime.
But I'm considering buying a bellefit. I was over weight PP and have a pooch still from DS so I need all the help I can't get.
