Hello all you super mummies!
Hope all is well.. I hope this isnt a violation of the forum boards but i just wanted to ask some advice from you.
I am trying to increase awareness about cord blood banking in the UK. From the statistics i've seen the USA has a higher uptake of this service compared to the UK and I really believe it to be the future of modern medicine and so want to educate the country's pregnant women on the facts and benefits.
I also find it a little strange that so many samples from the USA and other countries are stored in the UK (I assume its because of the more stringent regulations in the UK but it would be good to know if there is any other reasons).
Just really wanted to see your experience with this, if any, or even what you've heard and thoughts/opinions etc.
Hopefully with your help try to educate the UK on it.
Again, apologies if this is seen as a breach or spam. I don't mean it to be. Wish you all a happy pregnancy and motherhood

Unless it's free i don't think i'd ever do it.
Please don't link me to any information, i dare say PP is probably right about the novel thing.
Cord Blood Donation Program I plan on donating to. The program collects cord blood donations for inclusion in a worldwide donor registry.
