    My doctor said light spotting after sex was very common throughout pregnancy.
    However, it is always a good idea to let your OB/midwife know of any bleeding and let them make the decision on whether you need to be seen or not!

    Had the same thing today, but only 6 weeks. Freaked me out a lot... but my doctor said its completely normal. As long as it's light and not clotty.

    I had the same except it was after every time we had sex so my OB said to not have sex until after the first trimester just to be safe.

    This happened to me on Thursday, but mine was like..bright red blood. Went in and had my blood levels checked just to be safe, and everything seems ok. Now I'm just on "pelvic rest": no sex, no tampons (duh), etc. I'm having my first ultrasound this week just so my doc can be extra sure, but they said if it's pink or brown that's pretty common. Red is when they wanna check you out. Hope this helps!

    Thanks so much for all your comments!!! Just worried becuase I never spot only when I orgasm, even if there is not intercourse. It just seems to cause uterine contractions that causes the spotting. But I will be speaking to my doctor. Has anyone experienced this?

    I had a nearly identical experience and I am 5 weeks. I'm glad to read that I am not the only one experiencing this.

    Haven't had intercourse either, but have been having sex dreams causing orgasms....and lots of cramping right after! Have been spotting this week - all brown. Had US on Monday and saw heartbeat and growing baby....everything looked good and they said spotting was very normal. Guess it's something you don't realize until it happens to you!
