Convert carseat question....

Got a Britax Boulevard last week & installed it in my SUV (center seat). The base is wider & one side sits on the side passengers seatbelt buckle. This is causing the car seat to slightly tilt. Base is fully touching the seat, but when I look at it straight on (like when I am getting things out of the trunk ) I can see 1 side is slightly higher ... Is this bad?

    I have a Nissan Pathfinder and we decided to put it on one of the sides because of that reason... It is also easier to put and get the baby out

    Dmosquera4 I have a Pathfinder too!

    It does not have a level indicator, the thing weighs 30lbs & doesn't wiggle. Was thinking of putting it on the side, but would have to go behind the passenger side...DH & I are both tall so the drivers seat would probably touch it which I know is a no no.... I just feel funny having it on the side.

    Thanks for some good information guys! I will be installing car seats in both cars early next week and any help is definitely appreciated

    @kbmac thanks for the information about car seats sometimes not being allowed to touch the front seats. I had no idea about this. We definitely aren't bracing the seat but the drivers seat does slightly touch it when DH drives. Time to break out the car manual.
