seizure?

Okay I may be over looking this, but last night in the middle of the night lo woke me up crying and it looked like he was shaking. I ran in there and he wasn't doing it when I got in there he was just standing up crying. Has anyone else ever thought this? I wouldn't think he would stand up or be doing anything else if it was a seizure but I don't know all much about them. He has a Dr app tomorrow I plan to bring it up. *also after I picked him up and started nursing him I noticed he was still a little jerky, could it be a dream? He smiled as well when he jerked.

    This happened to us. ADD had an extremely high fever though and has since had 2 more episodes, all related to the way her fever jumps. She suffers from Febrile Seizures. When she woke up she was screaming like she'd gotten shots or was writhing in pain, she jerks and her body stiffens/relaxes for a few minutes after.

    She said she believes it is dreams and REM sleep. She told me I should not worry... I will watch him though

    DD screamed when she jerks like she was in pain. Just an FYI and has acted the same all 3 episodes. Hope everything gets better! We're battling fevers right now :-(
