I'm glued to my phone when I can't sleep. Then I remember " you probably can't sleep because you're glued to your phone." Maternity/body pillows do wonders. Reading before bed can help calm your mind and body. Not watching tv an hour before bed. I usually just cuddle up to my pillow and say in my mind "in, out" every time I inhale and exhale. Seems silly but it works for me.
Also love pinterest & lurk other birth months. I try not to touch my phone bc of the brightness when I dont I usually fall right back asleep. I find myself on an every other night sleeping schedule right now.
I moved to the couch around christmas and for whatever reason that helped a whole lot. I take benedryl and tylenol pm if I've had a particularly bad night and don't want a repeat. I've suddenly developed heartburn now at the end and so i avoid eating and drinking later in the evening.
I feel like every night is a different battle ... I'm so done. will restless leg be the issue? Cramps? Back pain? Indigestion? Always so exciting **yawn** :-q
Ugh last night was a particularly horrible one. At about 3:40 I grappled with the idea of getting up, going downstairs, and cleaning something. But I just continued to toss and turn and eventually fell asleep. I usually will spoil myself with a Benadryl every 3 nights or so. I don't like to do it everyday, but the nights I do are how I get caught up on my sleep.

Half a unisom. The only good thing about never ending morning sickness.

Maternity pillows have been my saviour. I feel like I've got a small fort on my bed the way I have to lie them all every night! I brought some sleep mist which smells of lavender which really helps relax me, I brought a special one specifically meant for pregnant women and it really works for me.

Haha, oh yes! I should have said 'or' not 'and' lol - thanks for checking @tlglass91
I usually read if its more of an insomnia issue. If its because I'm more uncomfortable than usual I will go lay on the couch until I fall asleep and then go back to bed. I'm convinced I would get the most amazing sleep in the world if I could sleep from 4am to 10am. I don't know why

I'm the same way, there were a couple of mornings over Christmas break where the kids let me sleep in until 9 AM and it was absolutely heavenly. It seems as though I can never really settle in until about 2 or 3 AM, but then it's smooth sailing!
Our bed is oddly tall so I have a hard time getting in and out, so lots of nights in the guest room. It's perfect since I get so hot at night I can crack the window (when it's negative 5 outside) and DH won't complain. I just need to drag my snoogle down the hall with me. I start out in our bed every night just to spend that 20 min presleep with him though, otherwise I can't sleep at all.
I really miss sleeping though. I know it's certainly not going to get any better.
There was a thing on the radio about a Inhaling for 4 seconds, holding your breath for 7, then exhaling for 8 seconds that helps you fall asleep. Something about those specific numbers slows your heart rate. It was a pretty big study too but I got to work before I could hear all the science
