In the hospital for induction

At my normal appointment yesterday, I was told I'd be leaving to go get induced. It was very overwhelming! I was on medication for 12 hours to try to soften the cervix- it brought on some minor contractions but no new dilation. Starting pitosin soon. I'm getting worried my body isn't responding and I'm scared of what's to come.

any advice for me? i feel like i'm on the top of the roller coaster and don't know what to expect! all the books and education i had doesn't seem to ease my fears now- any advice or words of wisdom?

i had the baby! easiest delivery- she came in 7 pushes and i smiled and laughed through it.
