Woke up this morning to some mild contractions about 5 minutes apart or so have a appoiment at 2 so i will get checked. Hope today gets better because along with the contractions my account is overdrafted because of a charge that should have cleared
Guests this weekend but I can't seem to get a move on. Oh and I almost blew up my coffee pot this morning plugging it into the wrong kind of converter! Now my house smells like burnt plastic. I've also come to the realization that once DS gets here DH and I won't be able to get away with keeping the heat off and bundling up in clothes!!
As for me, I have my strep B test today with my OB and I'm not looking forward to it. But in the bright side, only 12 working days until maternity leave! Woohoo.

I guess I'll start with a rant...within 15 minutes of being here she had already gotten pissy because I hadn't kept the kids up until 10:30 pm to see her.
Then she had a fit that our home phone just makes local calls and she was going to have to use minutes on her cell phone to call back to Nevada. (I can't even tell you the last time we used our home phone, we always use our cells, it really is just for emergency)
This morning it has been about why there wasn't any Monster energy drinks, herbal tea, and cherry twizzler bites. And that we needed to provide her one of our vehicles or rent her a car so she could drive to see her other son 4 hrs away for a week. And she would be needing a sewing machine bought to work on her crafts.
She has been here for 10 hours and is staying 5 weeks...not to mention that all of this is after DH and I were the ones that paid for the round trip flight to begin with.
My words before leaving to take DS to school were that I wasn't running a !#^^#!^ vacation resort, this was my home and I simply will not tolerate her asshattery. I wasn't paying another dime to fund her vacation and if she didn't want to get with the program she can put her ass back on a plane and go home.
On a side note I was so happy I got to use the word asshattery :-)
I'm sort of just blah today. Fortunately I am no longer working so when days like this come about I can just lay in bed. Yesterday I was so productive! I was up when DH went to work, did hours of grad work, cleaned, cooked, the whole 9! Now today I woke up late, had a NOSEBLEED (wtf?) and am laying back in bed watching the view feeling hungry yet too lazy to go get food...
I felt some really unpleasant cramping yesterday but the doc checked everything and this baby is all cozied up and comfortable, and not going anywhere anytime soon.
Now time for me to get cozied up and comfortable in bed with some Netflix!
In that case I am impressed. :-)
I thought about making a new discussion about this, but decided against it.
My shower is this weekend and I need to get a gift for my sister and my two best friends. I was thinking either a little spa thing from Bath and Body Works or something from Yankee Candle, but I don't know if either of those things would come across as cheap or cheesy. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
P.S. I don't craft. I clearly did not get the craft gene that most girls get and my crafts come out looking like something a three-year-old did. So no adorable crafts that will make me cry in frustration

I'm to that point where people are stopping by my office every day just to see if I'm here. And then I get comments like, "You're just as big as a barn." Nice. Thanks...

My spam is that I just generally feel like crap today. For the past 24 hours or so I have had a horrible headache, dizzy spells and just run down feeling. Even pregnant, this is not normal for me at all. I had a doctors appt today and there is absolutely nothing wrong with me. BP is 114/70, urine clean, baby great. I just feel like crap. I hope this isn't for the duration. I still have 5 weeks until my RCS.

@JessicaH1020 I think both ideas sound awesome.
My spam for the day, started the 24 hour urine collection. I thought it wouldn't be that difficult considering I finally have a process down for when I give a sample at the doctors office that doesn't create a mess but I am so wrong. I will be a very happy camper come tomorrow morning when I am done.
Other then that, just listening to the doctor and laying on the couch all day today.
The good news is that since it is my third I have everything I need so there is not much preparation to be done. Otherwise, I'd be screwed.
Today is just the suck. Its been hell since I woke up at 6am and couldn't go back to sleep. MFM and I had appointments mixed up so that was a pain in the ass to get sorted out. Curbed my bumper, got stuck in traffic on the way to my prenatal appt. with my ob who thankfully still saw me. Now I'm home for the next 45 min trying to squeeze in lunch before going back to MFM. And did I mention I have an endless amount of things to do today and no time? And school just called and SS1 isn't feeling right so we have to go get him since 1/2 the school is out w/ the flu even though he isn't running a fever. DH wants me to relax and watch crappy television. I don't have the time right now and even if I did we have a new roof going on and the satellite is down for that. I quit today.
He is going to smoke ribs, brisket, and chicken tomorrow so meals for a week will be complete!
MIL was finishing up a homemade lasagna for dinner tonight and apologized for her earlier lack of judgement. WHEW! :-)
