My DS will be about 17 months when DS2 shows up. DS is already a bit clingy since I stay home with him, so he spends all his time with me. He doesn't like when I leave him with DH. I'm hoping it's just a phase and he won't be super jealous when the new baby shows up.

We are pretty excited to be having them close together despite the potential problems. I think in the long run it will be great to have my boys so close together.

    Welcome! My boys are 17 months apart. Currently 2 and 9 months. I love the age gap!

    For our DD it was a transition. She loves him now but in the beginning she just didnt understand. Just make sure you are making time for DS on a daily basis! When DH gets home find an activity you can do with DS and then something DH can do with him as well. Basically you will be dating your child until they can coexist together ;) Its amazing how fast the love grows!
