Has anyone experienced very painful vomiting, with diarrhea and nose bleeds all at once? This just happened to me and I know with pregnancy comes these symptoms but I just don't want to pass it off as nothing..

  • Call your doctor if you're concerned.

  • I'd be calling your Dr.
  • I'd probably call the nurses hotline... FYI, we are not it.

  • I had it for about a week. My nose bled bc of the force in which I was vomiting. The doctor gave me immodium for the diarrhea and Zofran for the nausea. I did wind up in l&d for a few bags of iv fluid bc I was severely dehydrated. I would definitely talk to your doctor about it! This was just my experience with it.

  • Oh no hun :( I would call your midwife or doc, they know best.. Keep your fluids up and make sure you don't stress too much over it. I'm sure you will be fine... But call the doc regardless.

    Prayers your way x
  • Call your doctor immediately. I had symptoms like that that turned out to be HELLP syndrome and resulted in an emergency c-section within 12 hours of onset of the symptoms
  • @daciadanae‌ I hope you and baby were okay from that.. Must of been so traumatic x
  • I was admitted to the hospital last week for vomiting and diarrhea. At one point, my nose bled a little from the force of the vomiting. I needed five bags of fluid via IV, Zofran and Immodium, all under a doctor's supervision, to get it under control. The baby did okay, but his heartbeat was too fast. We had ultrasounds and monitoring, and his tachycardia improved as my health improved. I don't want to scare you, but don't mess around with this. Take care of yourself! I know this is no fun.

@lpinup It was very traumatic. It happened at 29 weeks and the baby ended up spending 4 months in NICU. I had never heard of HELLP until then so I'd hate for anyone else to be as caught off guard as DH and I were. That was my first pregnancy. This is my second and I'm at 37 weeks with no complications!! YAY!
  • @daciadanae‌ oh my I can't begin to imagine how hard that must of been for both of you. 37 weeks and still go strong yay, you keep it up! I'm sure you and baby will be totally fine and I hope all is well with baby number one now too!!

    Sounds like Ebola

Glad I wasn't the only one who had that come to mind.
    =))
  • Call your OB. Last week I wound up in L &D and had to get iv fluid because I easy so dehydrated from vomiting and diarrhea. There is some kind of stomach bug going around
  • Thanks so much for the serious concerns and comments! Everything is okay! It was a stomach bug and the nose bleeds came from just the extra dryness in my nose! Thank God bc I'm a huge worrier. Thanks again to the moms that are still sweet on the board! Lol
