  • @wittyandwaiting‌ Is the Underground Girls of Kabul a true story? And,I LOVE Jodi!

So far I'm really enjoying Miss Peregrine's. It was on a list of book to movie releases in 2015 so I thought I'd give it a try!

  • I'm reading the 4th book in the Mazerunner series. Fun, fast easy read. And rereading Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time Series (Book 7 - I think). I have a long list of books I want to read next - thanks for the suggestions. :-)
  • Read American Sniper this weekend - since we couldn't get in to see the movie, I figured I'd read the book. Still not sure what I think about the book...

I just started reading The World We Found and Still Alice. I regularly have 2 books going at a time. :)

I finished Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe last week. It was a very cute young adult novel about a 2 teen boys. Easy read and very sweet. It won several LGBT awards.

If you have a Kindle, I highly recommend the Oyster app. It is $10/month but you get get unlimited access to hundreds of thousands of books. I read all of the time and I can't remember buying a book. It doesn't have the current best sellers, but I just read American Sniper and Still Alice - both of which just came out as movies. They have all types of genres including kids books.

  • Hillary Clinton's Hard Choices.  I tend to read more non fiction than fiction.  My wife thinks I read the most boring of books.  I just finished reading a book about how the states got their shapes.  I found it fascinating, so I guess it proves her point.

Some books I've recently read are:

Fall of Giants by Ken Follett, historical fiction that revolves around WW1.

Banished by Lauren Drain, it's about her experience growing up  in the Westboro Baptist (Hate group) Church

Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline, it's historical fiction based on the true events that happend in NYC during the 1920's where immigrant children where taken from their homes and sold to families in the midwest for farm and house laborers.

@wittyandwaiting, that book sounds interesting, I'll have to add it to my list.

  • I have been reading What to Expect When You're Expecting but only because I got it for Christmas.  I am also reading Women Warriors (Police Women).  I read a whole lot of case law so I know what I can and can't do.
  • Wonder, The Circle, Reconstructing Amelia, Where'd You Go Bernadette- all books that I highly highly recommend!
  • The Bump message board and a what to expect book... those alone are hard to keep up with.

  • I'm re-reading The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks for a book club. It's the first non baby related book I've read in a long time. Hopefully I can start reading more books now that life is more normal

  • @redrockmama‌ I LOVED The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. That is a truly amazing story!

I am "reading" the new Haruki Murakami book- The Colorless Life of Tsukuru Tasaki. I say "reading" because I'm listening to it on Audible during my morning and afternoon commutes. I listened to his previous book 1Q84 that way and I love it!

My next audible book will most likely be Amy Poehler's book Yes, Please.

    A & K, married 7/1/13.

After 10 months of ttc via medicated IUIs and two early losses, we finally got our boys- Perfect premie twins born 5/27/14.

It really is. I read it about two years ago and learned a lot. The author also spoke at my school back in grad school.
