overwhelmed and confused

I am pregnant with my third (and final) child. My daughter was 12 days early and my water broke and everything started after that. My son was 8 days early and my water broke and everything went quickly from there. Now, with this pregnancy I've had Braxton Hicks for the last month (for the first time). I'm three days away from being 40 weeks and I'm feeling so confused and overwhelmed. I've walked so much that I have chafing and feel like I've tried everything. I keep hearing, go with the flow, your baby will come naturally...the problem is is that I work an hour away from my hospital and my last pregnancy progressed so quickly that I'm nervous that I won't make it to the hospital in time. I teach, so it's not like someone from work could just drive me. Any help or suggestions are welcome!

    I would talk to your OB about your concerns especially regarding your fast labors and distance from the hospital.

    My labor with DS2 was 2 hours and 9 minutes from water breaking and contractions to him being born. Because of that, My doctor said if I have a third, we could talk about inducing to reduce the chances of accidentally giving birth at home or on the interstate. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.

    I'd ask your OB to schedule an induction or go on maternity leave/
