Nail polish

Hi ladies! I'm getting tired of rotating my usual colors and want to try something new! What are your favorite brands and colors? Bonus for pics!

Re: Nail polish

  • Honestly I've stopped painting. Love jamberry. And no I don't sell it! Just am loving them.

Is Jamberry pretty easy to apply? And how long does it last for you?

Sinful. It's $1.99 a bottle, and it stays on longer than Essie aka take15coatstolookgood. OPI goes on too thick for me and chips right away. I ins the best selection at Walgreens, and some is also sold at Target! I posted this on FB a few weeks ago because I was looking for a pink or red, and pulled this out of my smaller, commonly used, bag of polish. I have a problem.

If the picture doesn't post I'm sorry...mobile won't let me do anything today!!

I've heard from lots of people that the cheaper brands are way better than OPI and Essie. I'll have to give it a try! Thanks!
  • It's warm here, so I'm back to wearing my pinks. I need to paint my nails today
  • I love the OPI colors, but I don't love that my nails chip right away!

  • I have a gel kit so I use that a lot and was going to do a pale pink/nude shade this weekend but never got around to it.

I always have my toes painted, even in the winter, it makes me feel pretty in my sorels! I just treated myself to "ladylike" by Essie and I like it, it's subtle but fun. I've never bought Essie before, only needed two coats.

Tried to post a pic but looks like it's not working.
  • I got shellac done. I don't have enough time to paint them!!

I had the shellac done once and it destroyed my nails. They were so dry after and broke easily.
  • White nail Polish has been my new fav. Or a slate grey.
  • @OliveOyl2014‌ @honeyzoo‌ they last me forever. 10-14 days on my fingers (of course some fingers like thumbs or pointers get used more and they want to peel up first so sometimes after a week I redo just 2-3 nails to make it last) but my toes! A whole month. I only take them off cause I'll be bored of them and they grew not cause they fall off. The glue is so strong. I learned the hard way not to just pull them off. My nails spilt a little and it pulled off the top layer of nail with it. Whoops! So you are suppose to take them off by applying oil first.

  • I don't know why the pics aren't working. Just google jamberry removal and it'll show you.

If you soak them I don't think it will destroy, and you peel them that's a different story, the nail tech doesn't need to use the drill ,just buff lightly with the fine side on your real nail.

Revlon gel envy! Best. Home. Nail. Polish. Ever. Inexpensive at $6.99 and lasts two weeks, fresh colors. I doubt they have it but I would do the 2015 color of the year Pantone or subtle greys, bright blues, tangerine, pinks or nudes. Good luck.
