Hi everyone. I just wanted to reintroduce myself since we're getting closer to our due dates.

I'm 33 and have an 18 month old daughter and am expecting another daughter on 3/27. I have been distant from the boards because I was depressed when I found out I was pregnant so soon. Actually, more scared and terrified than depressed. The past month or two I've been really excited and have lurked quite a bit.

In the beginning of the pregnancy I was diagnosed with a big SCH and then a low lying placenta later on. I was also involved in a car accident and was in strict bed rest for a few weeks.

But now everything is perfect *knock on wood*. Anyway, just thought since I've been a little active today I should come out from "hiding".

    Welcome back! I have a little 19 month old girl, so I know your concerns with them being so close in age. Some days I wonder how I'll do it..and the baby isn't even here yet! lol. There's quite a few moms with young toddlers on here, so you're not alone. 

    I hope the next 2.5 months for you are uneventful!

    Welcome back! I have a 15 month old daughter and another daughter due 3/22 so I can relate to what you are feeling! For what it's worth, I have a friend who was pregnant again at her 6 week follow up appointment after her first baby, and she says she wouldn't do it any other way.  Her kids are best friends.  They are around 10 now.  Good luck to you!

    @elgizzo‌ wow at her 6 week appt!?! I would've probably had a heart attack.

    I think what got me is my labor was almost 40 hours. I had multiple tears including a sulcus tear. Then Mommys thumb/wrists for about 8 months until I got cortisone shots. I dropped my daughter once because my wrists gave out. It was super scary. So I just fear all this stuff again. But I've finally come to accept that fate wanted me to have these two blessings after 2 losses. And I'll take whatever comes with them. :)
