Glass vs. Plastic (XP from BMB)

Hi ladies, just wanted a little advise about glass milk storage, if anyone has used this method. (This post is a XP from A15)

I decided this time around to go for glass instead of plastic baby bottles and breast milk storage. I am reading the reviews on Dr. Brown Glass (which I loved in plastic for DS) and Evenflo classic. I'm wondering about the breast milk storage aspect. I saw a lot of articles about mason jars. I wonder about the metal tops vs the leaky plastic tops. Anyone with tips or experience on glass bottles or storage? Anyone planning on doing the same?

Alot of mason jars can be used for freezer storage. Check the packaging, it will say on there.

I have the Sage Spoonfuls 4 oz glass storage containers for this purpose, although I haven't had to use them yet so I can't say how well they work. They are safe for the freezer.
