I just need to write and vent because of what was just texted to me made me so UPSET! So I found out I was having a boy and I am so excited ! My sister who knows everything after only having one kid... and its a GIRL.. tells me this shit....

if you circumcise your kid is more prone to RAPE ... now this didn't only hurt me because she basically just told me my kid is going to grow up and rape people but she is keeps messaging me everyday with a new fact if I do circumcise.

I am a FTM and she takes advantage of this... and I am young ... 18 years old and she takes advantage of that also . I am hurt and I had to vent... sorry.

Wow..... Insensitive and rude! I would just tell her politely that she can keep her opinions to herself. That its your child and you will make decisions you feel are best. Or you can just tell her to shove it......

My first reaction would probably be to text something back sarcastic like we better keep our kids apart then but of course that will only make the situation worse. Just don't respond to her when she sends you info.

Shes only 21. That's my exact point.. that she hasn't been a mom very long and yet she has the knowledge of a scientist that studies stuff like this... I just feel as if now when my son is around her there will be smart ass comments.. or if she changes him she'll make side comments.

I would tell her straight up that this is your child and you will do your own research and decide what you think is best for him. It's really none of your sister's business if you circumcise your son or not. Ask her politely to back off and respect you then ignore all other comments.

I have a "know it all" sister in law that comes up with the weirdest crap and seriously the most common phrase my husband and I use with her is "cite your source" that's all we say back to her weird "facts" and "stats"
