A 5 year old was invited to his friends birthday party which was held at local ski slopes. His parents confirmed he would attend and then plans changed so he did not go. The parents claim they did not have contact information for the birthday kids mom to notify her of the schedule change.
When the kid went back to school he was given an invoice for not going to the party, the invoice says "no show fee" and the mom is claiming she will take the parents to court if they do not pay the fee.
I just can't get over that it's over 24.00 dollars! I mean ya it sucks people are inconsiderate they should RSVP and show. But that's the risk you run throwing kid party's or any party at that.
I can't get over the fact this mom is willing to burn bridges with this family and start problems with her sons friend over 24 dollars!! how embarassing for her! Suck it up take it as a loss lady! You can't even go to court for 24 dollars . Ridiculous .
That is ridiculous. Isn't that the risk you take when you throw a child's birthday party? I wonder if the reaction would have been different if the kid missed because of a death in the family or illness.
Also, no way in hell am I taking a bunch of five year olds to a ski slope.
Wow. The invoice mom is utterly ridiculous. I'd be pissed if my kid came home with a freakin' bill for a birthday party. That lady could kiss my ass, and if she's so worried about her money then going to court is the last thing she should do. What a moron.
