Help!!! I'm Desperate!

I am not a regular poster on this group, but I am an April 2014 mom and I am in need of some mommy advice!
My son was a baby who was sleeping through the night at 6 weeks old. At about 5 months old he started waking a couple times a night. Not necessarily to eat but because he had lost his binki or had wedged him self into the corner of his crib, and needed help changing position. I am perfectly fine getting up with him if he is hungry! But at this point I am up at least 6 times a night to give him his binki, reposition, or pat him back to sleep. Sometimes it only takes 30 seconds to get him back to sleep sometimes 20 minutes.
What's with the restless sleeping? What can I do? Any advice would be helpful! I'll try anything!

I am in the same situation. DD sleeps for about an hour and a half then wakes up between sleep cycles. I want to CIO but she screams like she's being killed and DH can't handle it so he goes and gets her. Soooo now she has learned if she screams Daddy comes running. But guess who is up every hour and a half with DD until I give in and bring her to bed.. Just make sure you and your SO are both on board and stick to whatever you pick because inconsistency in sleep training won't get you anywhere!

  • Ditto lots of pacis in the crib or use a small clip like we've been doing lately. Makes it much easier for him to find & less time he's awake or keeping me up.

Agree with @MamaFantastic‌ and I put his paci on a clip for when he sleeps so if it falls of because he passed out he knows where to find it and and pulls it to his mouth
