Just spoke with RE office: Question

They want me to continue taking prometrium? Why? Of course I think of these things after the fact. She also wants me to go to OBGYN today for betas and progesterone and wants me to call back when they are negative. If they were 39 Monday, there has to be a good chance they are almost negative, right?

    I think they want you to keep take prometrium because bleeding doesn't necessarily (sp?) means another loss. Maybe there is still hope. Get your betas done and lets take one step at a time.

    Hmm the only thing I can think of as to why they would keep you on them is maybe you will have to continue to take them for a while.  Like to build up in your system or something?  I really have no clue, lol, I would call back and ask them.

     I hope you don't have to wait so long at the ob office.  Can you get your b/w done at Dr. H office?  They get the results back to you asap.

    I'd call the dr and ask personally.  FWIW My RE said, prometrium is naturally in your body, your body won't absorb what it can't use so it really wont hurt you so it doesn't hurt to take it.
