25wks...Anyone feeling pressure and burning sensation down there?

So I have this burning sensation but it's not when I pee. The sensation comes and goes but is mainly when I'm moving while laying down. Like moving onto a couch or turning in bed...anyone else feel the same thing ever? Maybe I have an infection...

This made me actually lol pretty hard. Thank you.
  • I have the same feeling but im 23 weeks and also peeing very frequently sometimes 15 mins after i just went. Im wondering if i have a bladder infection? Or if its ligament pains, im going to call my doctor in the morning just to be safe
  • Its your pubic symphysis softening. Keep doing your pelvic floor strengthening and it should help. Look into SPD.
  • It's not an infection despite what all of these helpful ladies have said...

True story, very likely- I haven't heard someone say pubic symphysis, btw, since grad school- but I'd still talk to the doctor. That's why they're there!! :)

  • Sorry....it's called pregnancy. Baby weight + weight of placenta = pain.
  • Par for the course.
    Call a doctor for reassurance.

ditto. I get it a lot. Unfortunately it gets worse with each pregnancy (or it has for me at least), so I feel it a lot! Not the shooting sensations as much as just general discomfort and soreness. And I definitely feel it when I roll over in bed or get up from the couch. One helpful suggestion is trying to keep your knees together. So if you're in bed rolling over, keep your knees together. Or when you get out of bed keep the knees together and bring them to the edge of the bed then stand up. Also my BIGGEST piece of advice is to sit on an exercise ball as much as possible and stretch the inside muscles. This helps me SO MUCH.
