Hello Ladies! Sorry I'm a day late to start this thread since things have been a little bit crazy. I'm pleased to report that I did 3 proper gym sessions last week. Thanks for the motivation you all give me! I felt so blardy damn good after all 3 workouts. I'm currently on a business trip which means no lunch time workouts. I do walk from the hotel to the office and back so that's a good small amount of exercise. There is a gym here and I packed gym clothes but forgot my runners.

I'll promise to do a workout in my room and stuff on the weekend!
As usual, report back how your week went and what your plans are for this week.

Re: Workout / Fitness Check-In Jan 20
And on Friday I food a 3.2 mile jog/walk. The jogging part was probably 1.5 miles total and had to walk in intervals.
No real video tips. I tend to listen to either the Fall Out Boy or Thirty Seconds to Mars I heart radio stations. Or my own eclectic mp3 mix.
ETA: in case you missed it, I had my first baby related yoga fail Saturday. I couldn't do pigeon pose, it was too uncomfortable. I was sad, pigeon is one of my very favorite poses.
Anyone have a good easy arm workout? One place I have seemed to be putting weight... my upper arms!
My DVD suggestions....
Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga & Short Forms.... I love that they have a woman in each trimester so you can see the adjustments needed for each. Also love that they have 15 min, 30 min, and a full length practice.
I have Suzanne Bowen's Long and Lean prenatal practice... yoga and pilates... but haven't tried it yet.

@finchfeeder80 - I'd be bummed about the pigeon pose too! I like that one. Why can't you do it anymore? Is it bothering your back or hips?
I haven't done them since pregnant, but theoretically I could and adapt, but my favorite youtube videos are by blogilates. This one goes out to @tinybugsmom!
I just do a simple arm workout with a medicine ball: 10 cross body standing core crunches on each side, 10 shoulder raises, 10 overhead tricep raises, and 10 bicep curls.
I'm always looking for new music for playlists so I appreciate any suggestions you all have!
Will take it easy this week since I signed up for back to back halves prior to knowing I was pregnant. Probably just run once before the race this weekend.
I haven't done any YouTube workouts, but I have a YogaGlo account and love the prenatal yoga practices from Jo Tastula, Carol Westerman, and Stephanie Snyder. Jo has an awesome active flow as well as a great gentle flow class. Carol has an awesome class that has a lot of squats in it which I am loving right now!
I hope that works!
I also have Suzanne Bowen's Long & Lean Prenatal work out and if you like Pilates I think you'd like it. I really like it, and it gets my heart rate up as well.

I bought my first maternity anything today (18 w3d) - running tights - but not sure when I will need them, just felt I should have a pair ready just in case my belly decides to pop out.
Great job with your workouts everyone!
I just started working out again...got my second session in tonight and feel pretty good. Hoping DS didn't get me sick so that I can keep it up!
Since I am only supposed to lift 5-10 lb weights or use a resistance band and suggestion on what I can do to increase my upper body strength? I'm going to need it after my c/s to help get myself moving.
I do the Lindsay Brin DVD workouts. They aren't too hard but get my muscles working pretty good. I'm starting to add some additional arm workouts into her upper body session because she doesn't get your biceps going.
