So my gripe is a continuation from Friday (see my other post if you have no idea what I am talking about): I got updated paperwork from the doctor this morning, but Leave Administration is off today because of the holiday so I cannot return to work until tomorrow. FML. My boss now hates me.

My boss will be in tomorrow from New Jersey and be spending a couple of days with me. This greatly disrupts my schedule and basically drives me nuts! He is just going to have to wait while I go get acupuncture on Tuesday and be okay with it, if all else fails and I will play the TTC card. He can't gripe at me if its a "medical procedure" Ha!

@meredithcarole, ack!! I am so frustrated for you right now, I am sorry. Hopefully this will all be done soon!

AFM: I have to do 3 interviews today...for an entry level position. Don't get me wrong, I know we all have to start somewhere but after weeks of going through resumes littered with misspellings, and people applying that are WAY too qualified, I am tired. It's so hard to hire entry level because my expectations are so damn high for the position that we are hiring for. I just don't have the time to hand hold with all of the other stuff I have to do.

Ugh, that sounds so horrible...don't judge me! lol

My gripe is that I slept like sh#%t last night because I have a lot on my mind. The more I tried not to think about those things, it made it worse! Then I got aggravated so I went downstairs and watched TV till about 3ish. The damn cat woke me up around 6, of course I didn't fall back to sleep and my alarm went off at 630. At least I can sleep through my acupuncture appointment in a few minutes. Ugh. That's my vent today.

@cml11 sleeping shitty sucks! I have an issue where I wake up around 2 or 3 and BAM, my mind turns on. I have a hard time shutting it off.

The interviews were interesting. The one guy was good and nailed it. He seemed too smart to come back for a second interview

The second guy had on a shirt that said "Boss man from the start" and he couldn't stop looking down my shirt! Wtf, it's an interview lol.

The third guy was a no show *sigh*

Mine seems silly compared to every one else but it is bothering me today so u will spill it.
As most if you know I make cakes on the side. Recently I've had a lot of people inquiring about cakes and then not get back to me about if they really want it.
When I get a cake order I have to rearrange my schedule for three days. I have my own family to tend to along with two kids I babysit for. So the cake work had to be done in between all that. So I can only take one cake order for that time. When someone inquires I pencil them in my calendar so I don't overlap anyone.
I spend sometimes hours looking up ideas and finding what I might need to make the cake.
Then days go by and I don't hear anything so I follow up and then find out they just wanted to find out a price but really didn't want the cake.
Why would people waste my time.
I get all my cakes through word if mouth so these are all people who know me or know a friend I've already made a cake for. I actually had to tell a friend to only give my number to people who actually want cakes.
Mind you my cakes are cheep so it isn't even that the price is too high unless they go and get a plain one layer cake from Walmart for $20.

Sorry vent over!!!
I'm still getting over my stomach bug and am a little cranky from not eating for 4 days.

My boss, who I don't especially care for is coming in from Montana to spend 2 days with me..oh joy. Luckily, I have some interviews to conduct on both days she is here (yay!). But, I have several interviews which is my least favorite part of my job. One of our locations I'm hiring for is a small town and halfway between 2 larger cities so I basically have to interview anyone with a pulse. And to top off the week I have a funeral to attend tomorrow. I soooooo cannot wait for this week to be over!!!

@Nickolie93 - interviews can be so creepy and entertaining! I always wonder what the interviewee is thinking when they do or say something inappropriate. Oh the stories....lol

@hooligans4‌ , that is so frustrating and not a small vent. I listen to MH bitch about that same thing for his business! Time spent to design and think of ideas is precious time to be doing other stuff. I get so mad for him.. And now you!

@dream2be3‌ omg, you sound like me as far as interviewing anything with a pulse! And it's also my least favorite part of my job. Just think of all the resumes we get because we advertise on Craigslist. Really??? I had one guy whose email was bigtatas @xx.com Hahaha
