Wow...Semisonic's "Closing Time" new meaning

Just stumbled across this. An interesting take on an awesome song! Ironically, this was the last song at our wedding/the night Wee Baby Seamus was conceived ;)

    He was so tricky doing it. He really managed to hide the meaning and make it seem about something else! I always thought it had to be about more than just last call and closing a bar, it really was to beautiful to just be about that. Love it even more now!

    I always had a feeling it wasnt quite about a bar closing, the whole "I know who I want to take me home" line struck me as not how end-of-night people think (like take me to my home? why would someone else take me to my own home? But if it's their home, why would I call it home? not their place). The music video is the only reason I accepted the bar closing theme.
    J'15 January Signature Challenge: Pinterest Fail: I want to do one, but I was late in starting and now I'm too lazy to get in on it. This is how most of my pinterest fails normally occur, at least I didnt buy supplies.
