Is anyone else having crazy dreams?

I'm a pretty vivid dreamer to begin with, but lately my dreams have been extremely long, detailed and even a bit scary. Sometimes it's almost like the dream is trying to convince me it's real! Just woke up from one about a malevolent ghost stealing my son and refusing to give him back unless I agree to take her place in the never ending cycle of domestic abuse she has to repeat forever. WTF, brain?!? How did you even come up with that!?! Last night was one about going out shopping with my mom and everything was completely realistic and normal until she told me she lost my son and there was no way to get him back. I woke up with my heart pounding and for a split second I wasn't sure it really was just a dream! Yikes!

Are you guys having crazy dreams, too? I'd love to hear about them! It's always nice to know I'm not loosing it all by myself!

    Yes, crazy vivid dreams. Sometimes so nice that I don't want to wake up! Like the one where DH, a random friend, and I were exploring some tropical islands. I could actually feel the softness of the sand, which was green for some reason...

    Yep I had a dream I revealed to everyone I was having a girl and I'm having a boy. Everyone was so mad at me for lying and I was so upset because I said I can't help what's in the cupcakes! :))

    This has been discussed a few times, as miss pickles has suggested.

    I had crazy dreams like that before I was pregnant almost every night, but only every once and a while now. I had one where someone shot my stomach two times. I woke up freaking out over my baby. In general though, my dreams are less scary (thank goodness) and more weird.

    I dreamed our baby was an alligator. I may be stressing about the anatomy scan we have at the end of the week. In the dream I asked my ob if it was safe to have a natural birth with an alligator or if I had to get the recommended c section. I have a feeling Friday is going to take as long as it can to get here.

    Lol I love OITNB! I also love scary stories ( /r/creepypasta and /r/nosleep on reddit) but lately I've had to be really very careful about what I do before bed, otherwise my scary stories follow me to sleep! It's so strange how long these dreams seem. It's like Inception where you live for years inside one dream!

    I've read a lot of women dreaming about "animal babies". I've had them, too. I love getting the Ultasounds but it's SO SCARY at first. I spend the whole time worrying something's not right. I'm sure everything will be just fine, though! And you'll have so much fun seeing your little one!
