hi ladies. I'm freaking out here. I'm attaching pictures.
About my breastfeeding history: I EBF my son to 13 months. My daughter has not been a great nurser and has been losing weight, so I have stopped breastfeeding her and have gone to pumping instead. She's a 28 week preemie and is 8 months old. I've been exclusively pumping for about a month. I only pump 3x a day though. I have tons of frozen milk, so I'm not too concerned about increasing supply. I pump about 15 oz / day on average.
This past week I got a massive plugged duct. It took me 2 days of warm compresses and adding extra pumping sessions and increasing suction to finally unclog it. It released 2 days ago. My breast has been a little sore since. My nipples got bruised and cracked. I also got a big blister. I'm guessing it was from the stronger pumping suction.
This morning I went to pump and got pink milk. Strawberry milk color. Then when I looked in the bottle, there was some pink stringy tissue. I'm in a lot of discomfort.
Wtf is that tissue?! Anybody have this happen?

Re: Pink milk with red tissue
The stringy stuff is probably dried milk from your clogged duct.
