  Yay for a healthy boy!!

  ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
  Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

  Not sure why my edit button isn't working but I was so sure I was having a boy that I had the whole nursery theme picked out. When tech said girl I was like...you sure!!

  And I can so well relate to DH not liking any names that I like... This time I figured I cannot tell him the names I want because he will reject them. Maybe I'll ask a third person to make a suggestion, or figure out a trick so that he can see the name somewhere and maybe he'll like it himself :-)

  superlowamh that is so funny!  I didn't actually talk to DH about the names I liked.  I made a list of boy and girl names and I left it conveniently laying on the kitchen counter.  I waited for him to notice and let him approach me. It was actually kind of funny because one of the names I had for a boy was Finn Patrick.  He came home from work a few days later and walked in .. said hi to the kids.. kissed the kids..  then just looks at me and says Finn? really??  LOL I almost peed my pants.  Because he literally hadn't said a word and I wasn't even sure if he saw the list and then he just comes home like that's the one and only thing he could think of to say.. like he had been stewing on it all day. 

  
  

  He says all of my names are pretentious. Which I find to be hilarious because his all time favorite name is Rory.  How can you think Finn is pretentious but Rory isn't?  

  
  

  Then we came up with Carson which he claimed to really like.  Then we have our scan and find out it's a boy and then he comes home and says.. no I don't want another 'C' name.  (our 6 yr old is Collin)

  BabyBliss76 That's funny! I think we might finally have agreed on a name.. at least for now!!  I suggested Samuel yesterday because I've always loved the name Sam but never thought DH would go for it.  DH loves it!  DH picked Christopher for the middle because that's his middle name so for now the name is Samuel Christopher. We'll see if it sticks. lol  A couple people I've shared it with are giving me a hard time because we used to have a chocolate lab named Sam. We actually wanted to name our 6 yr old Sam but we had our dog Sam so obviously couldn't do that. lol  But Sammy's been gone for a couple of years. We had to put him down 2 years ago in February.  I'm not really naming my child after the dog but the name is available again.    That said, I did really really love that dog.  lol
