I'm sad that we're leaving. I'd like to stay but will follow the crowd. I just don't like change! I guess I'll continue to lurk. I thought the idea of leaving was just in case we wanted to leave, and then it just started snowballing it seems.

I came back to check out the carnage after being away for a month or so (my phone died...didn't reinstall the app, and kept getting signed out when I logged in on the mobile browser). Sad how dead all the boards are...there were lots of posters on other boards I'll miss.

I have been too busy for much more than the occasional lurk/love tit the past couple weeks so I am moderately confused about wtf is happening.

Is everyone just moving to FB? Or the proboards thing?? Or both??

I don't do the FB so I hope it's not just that.

I don't have much knowledge of the drama that went down. It didn't affect me so I'm kinda in the I-don't-care camp. I like it here and I'm not good with change so probably not going anywhere unless coaxed. I was part of a different board a few years ago that went down. I was bummed out, but moved on and that's when I found TB.

Mostly a lurker, too. It makes me sad to think this place will quiet down. I won't be able to get involved another way, I do not participate I any other form of social media.

I don't feel like A14 was all that affected by what went down so the mass exodus confuses me. I don't want to lose you ladies so I will follow the group. I am in the fb group and have checked out the other place and so far don't like it. I am still holding out hope that this will blow over and we will all just stay here.

Yeah, that was to help with things after business hours. They would be able to do more than the regular mod when it came to TOU violations. Mods were in favor of this so really bad violations wouldn't have to wait until Monday. The supermods were also more than just volunteers.

LOL it has. There are admins around taking care of reported posts. Mods have been asked to report things as we see them so they can be taken care of.

I have a theory: every once in a while, the bump gods stir the pot a little, piss off regulars, ban people, etc in order to chase everyone off. Then, new members or lurkers start posting more and it keeps the board fresh. So, all of this drama and gbcb that happens is all part of their master plan to keep the boards going or something like that.

I saw those reviews too!! I mean I know I've had my complaints about ladies being cliquey or whatever, but come on. Put your big girl panties on. I've seen very little harassment or bullying on the bump. Some people just can't handle being disagreed with or not getting constant validation.

I've settled into only lurking and occasionally post on this board (I'm mostly on WM), but so far I'm staying on the bump. A14 has become my new #1 place to lurk, though, since lurking on parenting is no longer an option, which is so sad. Some of the regs on WM that I love the most are gone, 2 in particular, but I'm kind of addicted to the bump and I don't like the format of the new place. If I went some place else it would have to be some place other than the new alternative, I think.

The exodus is kind of shocking though-to me at least. It seems bigger and more wide spread than previous ones. That may just be my impression since, again, some of my favorite people have left.
