Can someone Give me the GD numbers?

I'm not sure if its different for different states, I know here its actually different for each hospital. But What are the blood sugar numbers you are going by? I had GD with my first but that was almost 3 years ago and I threw out all the paper work once she was born. I was cleared for this pregnancy but since I still have the monitor I want to check my morning glucose and then after meals. But i forget what I'm looking for! Do you test right away after eating or do you wait an hour? And what is the "normal range" number you are looking for? Just curious to see where everything is at!

Re: Can someone Give me the GD numbers?

  • There is a thread on this search 1hour glucose test and it should come up. Pretty much everyone has shared their pass/fail numbers.

  • This is information your doctor should be giving you, as expectations and details vary from practice to practice and patient to patient. You can do a cursory google search, but I would not be comfortable advising you on medical issues like this.
  • I have GD and my doc is telling me that my level should be 90 or below for fasting, and 130 or below one hour after you start eating a meal. Some I've heard allow a little higher so def check with your doc.
